Wallace Middle School will be providing free optional after-school childcare after the early dismissal until 3:15 on Wednesday, October 25th. Please contact the main office to let us know if you have a child that plans on staying.
Wallace Middle School is proud to announce that WMS sixth grade math and science teacher, Michelle Gardner, was recently recognized for her commitment to natural resource conservation education and the mission of the Holston River Soil and Water Conservation District by being named Conservation Educator of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Gardner!

On behalf of our School Board and the more than 1000 employees of WCPS, I would like to express our sympathy and support to the families of everyone affected by the recent tragedy experienced by the Abingdon Fire Department and our community. For decades, the Abingdon Fire Department has served our community with courage, integrity, and selfless sacrifice for which we are indescribably grateful. There are no words that can express our condolences to everyone involved, but please know that you will have our love, support, and prayers in the coming days, weeks, and months.
