Wallace Middle School eighth grade class held its 24th annual Veterans Day Celebration on November 10, 2023. The student-led event featured original essays, art work, and song selections by the WMS Chorus. Brigadier General Christopher D. Hill presented an inspiring keynote address, while Delegate Israel O’Quinn offered memorable opening remarks. Guests were invited to join students for lunch following the program, which allowed for conversations and extended understandings of veteran commitments. It was a time of reflection on the importance of being thankful for our service men and women, as well as their sacrifices for our country.
